The AOC Q27G2S punches above its price. The 165Hz refresh rate is smooth, and the 1ms response time keeps motion crisp. I appreciated the 350 cd/m² brightness, which is bright enough for most rooms. The IPS panel has decent colors, but contrast is typical for IPS. G-Sync worked flawlessly. However, the build quality is plastic, and the stand only offers tilt. For $166, it's one of the best budget QHD gaming monitors I've used.
